An atheist professor of Philosophy was speaking to his class on the problem Science has with GOD. He asked one of his new Christian Students to stand and …
Professor : You are a Christian, aren’t you, son ?
Student : Yes, sir.
Professor: So, you believe in GOD ?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Professor : Is GOD good ?
Student : Sure.
professor: Is GOD all powerful ?
Student : Yes.
Professor: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to GOD to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But GOD didn’t. How is this GOD good then? Hmm?
(Student was silent.)
Professor: You can’t answer, can you ? Let’s start again, young fella. Is GOD good?
Student : Yes.
Professor: Is satan good ?
Student : No.
Professor: Where does satan come from ?
Student : From … GOD …
Professor: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student : Yes.
Professor: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it ? And GOD did make everything. Correct?
Student : Yes.
Professor: So who created evil ?
(Student did not answer.)
Professor: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they?
Student : Yes, sir.
Professor: So, who created them ?
(Student had no answer.)
Professor: Science says you have 5 Senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son, have you ever seen GOD?
Student : No, sir.
Professor: Tell us if you have ever heard your GOD?
Student : No , sir.
Professor: Have you ever felt your GOD, tasted your GOD, smelt your GOD? Have you ever had any sensory perception of GOD for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.
Professor: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student : Yes.
Professor : According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says your GOD doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.
Professor: Yes, faith. And that is the problem Science has.
Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Professor: Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as cold?
Professor: Yes.
Student : No, sir. There isn’t.
(The lecture theatre became very quiet with this turn of events.)
Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.
(There was pin-drop silence in the lecture theater.)
Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Professor: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?
Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light. But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it is, were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?
Professor: So what is the point you are making, young man ?
Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Professor: Flawed ? Can you explain how?
Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good GOD and a bad GOD. You are viewing the concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, Science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing.
Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Professor: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shook his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument was going.)
Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor. Are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?
(The class was in uproar.)
Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?
(The class broke out into laughter. )
Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room was silent. The Professor stared at the student, his face unfathomable.)
Professor: I guess you’ll have to take them on faith, son.
Student : That is it sir … Exactly ! The link between man & GOD is FAITH. That is all that keeps things alive and moving.
P.S.
I believe you have enjoyed the conversation. And if so, you’ll probably want your friends / colleagues to enjoy the same, won’t you?
Forward this to increase their knowledge … or FAITH.
By the way, that student was Einstein.

Hi
Girl you just caught my eye
thought I should give it try
and get your name & your number
go grab some lunch & eat some cucumbers
Why, did I say that?
I don’t know why.
But you’re smilin’ & it’s something’ i like
on your face, yeah it suits you
girl we connect like we have bluetooth
i don’t know why
I’m drawn to you
Could you be the other one so we’d equal two?
and this is all based on a lucky chance
that you would rather add then subtract
You & I
could be like sonny & cher
honey & bears
You & I
could be like aladdin & jasmine
lets make it happen
La La’s
Hey
How’ve you been?
I know that it’s been awhile.
Are you tired cause you’ve been on my mind
runnin’ thousand & thousands of miles
Sorry, I know that line’s outta style
but you
you look so beautiful on this starry night
loving the way the moonlight catches your eyes & your smile
i’m captivated
your beauty is timeless never outdated
i don’t know why
I’m drawn to you
Could you be the other one so we’d equal two?
and this is all based on a lucky chance
that you would rather add then subtract
babe
its been 5 years since that special day
when I asked you on our first date
i guess it’s safe to say
Let me say
you look beautiful on our wedding day
- when I heard this song from a film by JAMICH sa youtube, I try to find out the title of the song. eto nga yun.ang cute..
Love is a funny thing. You expect it to be easy. You expect it to be a world of roses and laughs and perfect moments that you find only in movies.
You expect her to always say the right thing, and always know exactly how you feel, or exactly how to react to it. You expect her to calm you down when you’re yelling or to chase you when you run away.
You expect so much that you feel entirely, and utterly defeated when something doesn’t exactly match up to all your plans. But that’s the thing.
Love isn’t a plan. It doesn’t have a certain beginning and it certainly has no end, or a visible finish line to those deeply in it.
Love happens; it is so incredibly messy. People around you can’t comprehend why you do the things you do, or why you fight so hard for something that seems to cause you so much pain.
Because simply, they can’t see. They can’t see the invisible ring of insanity that surrounds you when you’re in love. It’s inconvenient and painful and devastating at times, but we can’t live without it.
What you don’t learn is how hard love is. How much work it takes. How much of ourselves we have to put into it. How it isn’t worth it until we are complete and utter idiots about it.
Love isn’t her calming you down when you yell. It’s her yelling, just as loud, just as hard, right back at you, right in your face to wake you up and to keep you grounded.
It isn’t her or him bringing you roses everyday or cute things that make your relationship appear more presentable. It’s right after a long fight, that drains the life and bones right out of both of you, and yet her or him showing up at your door the next morning anyway.
It’s not her saying all the right things or knowing exactly how to handle you. So no, it’s not her caressing your hair and telling you everything is going to be okay. It’s her standing there, admitting she’s just as scared as you are.
You have to remember that with love, you’re not the only one involved. You’ve unknowingly put your life, your heart into the palm of another’s hands and saying, here. Do what you will. Mash it into a million pieces, mash it into meat. Or forget I ever handed it to you in the first place. Just as long as you have it.
It makes reality invisible and it erases all the lines that we shouldn’t cross. Because love isn’t about fencing ourselves in; feeling safe, feeling sure about the future.
It’s about scaring the shit out of every nerve in our body, but pushing forward anyway.
Because all the fighting and all the tears and all the uncertainty is worth it. And it’s a hell of a lot better, than being 100% happy without someone to show us that there is a world of a difference between feeling ‘happy’ and feeling whole.

So glad that after a few tiring days, it ends tonight. I was muddled this week cause’ of those spontaneous things to do at school with those reports na nakaka-hang talaga ng utak, assignments na sangkaterbang hirap ang dala, seminar which is required for me to attend with and for the celebration of my H.S. super friend of mine on her 18th birthday ( without knowing na nasa 18 candles pala ako that night) .. But to think of it, I plumped on the right track. I did all things right yet made me feel a bit “BITIN” at all. As of now, I need to sleep, take some rest ‘cause I feel like I’m gonna die (no,not seriously, haha!) to fully recharge my mind for the next tiring weeks ahead. For now, just for awhile, this will be my night and my time. Itutulog ko na ‘to para ‘di magkasakit. Goodnight and Godbless!:))
I just wanna make blog post before making my life an ultra-busy tonight. I have much things to do as of now, those reports na pinag-aralan ko na but keep thinking how can I make ‘em damn interesting cause’ reporting those stuffs are crucial if they aren’t that apt. Hay? so much things to do..I’d rather make puyat than pushing myself to make them all with the super mega ingay at gulo na mga tao here. But asking myself why I bother to post here?? Well, I end up thinking ‘bout the integration that exists which I actually heard from the news an hour ago. Skype which I consider the best video call ever integrates Facebook! At isa lang ang masasabe ko, sa’yo na lahat, bilin mo na lahat Facebook..ikaw na, the best ka e.haha! :))
“God allows us to experience the low points of life in order to teach us lessons we could not learn in any other way. The way we learn those lessons is not to deny the feelings but to find the meanings underlying them.”
Godbless everyone!:))
